I’m sorry. My mother did not raise me like this. I would really like to apologize to the victim, Miss Chrissy Polis.

Teonna Monae Brown, pleading guilty to first-degree assault and hate crime against a trans woman. Brown was sentenced to five years in prison. (WaPo)

I respect Ms. Brown’s apology and I hope she will build a good life for herself after she has served her time.

Some people say homosexuality is a sin. It’s not, God is perfectly cool with it, and He feels the same way about homosexuality as He does about heterosexuality. Now, you might say, whoa, whoa, slow down, you move too fast. How could you have the audacity, the temerity, to speak on behalf of God? Exactly; that’s an excellent point and I pray that you remember it. — Ted Alexandro

In this video, a boy encounters a married couple who are both husbands. He seems confused at first and is then delighted to realize that they’re “husbands and husbands”, not husbands and wives. He then treats the matter with what I’d say is the correct amount of concern, announcing “I’m going to go play ping-pong now.” Older people have already learned the “correct” reaction to have in this case — here’s an instance in which a kid spontaneously identifies what, to him, is slightly novel, and then moves on.
